NAIM Strengthens Sri Mawar’s Digital Readiness, Sets Stage for Prestigious Education Hub

Miri, 23 September 2025 — NAIM today handed over laptops to 22 teachers of Sri Mawar Primary School, accompanied by a briefing session on their usage. The initiative reflects NAIM’s commitment to enhancing the school’s teaching resources while laying the foundation for the broader expansion of the Sri Mawar education ecosystem.

During the session, NAIM’s Chief Operating Officer (Education), Datu Hj. Azmi Bin Hj. Bujang said the laptop handover marks only the beginning of a larger transformation:

“Today is just the tip of the iceberg. The laptops are an immediate support for teachers, but more importantly, they represent the start of our journey and how committed we are to elevate Sri Mawar into a prestigious and future-ready education hub,” he said.
He also highlighted NAIM’s broader plans to strengthen Sri Mawar’s role as a leading education provider in Miri. Today’s initiative reflects the Group’s focus on equipping educators with the technology and tools needed to drive future growth.

The event was also attended by senior representatives from NAIM, including William Ong, Chief Information Officer, and Haliza Binti Segar, Regional General Manager for Miri, together with other members of the management and corporate teams who were present to support the initiative.

The handover reaffirmed NAIM’s commitment to advancing education as part of its community-building mission, while paving the way for the Sri Mawar Education Centre — envisioned as a world-class international education hub in Miri by 2027.
