Naim presents house to grand prize winner

KUCHING: When Professor Iqbal Khadaroo of University of Sussex, United Kingdom bought a property from Naim Group of Companies last year, little did he know that he would get another house worth more than RM300,000.

Iqbal and his wife Dr Aminah Abdullah, who hails from Miri, stated that it was the first time they had won something this big and valuable.

“It was totally unexpected and such a great way to start the Chinese New Year – Gong Xi Fa Cai! It is truly a windfall for my family. We are thrilled and over the moon to hear that we have won a house,” said Iqbal.

Last year, they bought a Naim Twin Villa semi-detached double-storey corner house at the Group’s Miri lakeside development called Naim South Lake Permyjaya, as a holiday cum retirement home for its excellent security and facilities at Naim club house.

“I find that Sarawak is a good place to retire with its reasonable cost of living, a great combination of nature, cultural and adventure. We felt lucky when we bought Naim Twin Villa. Now we feel twice as lucky,” said the grand prize winner of the Group’s Rewards Campaign launched in November 2017.

During the campaign, buyers of the Group’s properties in Kuching, Bintulu and Miri stood to win prizes up to RM500,000 in monthly draws, with the grand prize of a selected property located in Kuching, Bintulu or Miri.

The grand draw, which was held at Naim Clubhouse in Miri, was broadcast live across the Group’s regional branches in Kuching and Bintulu.

Iqbal walked away with a Naim Terasse single-storey terrace house – his choice of grand prize.

He added that their choice to buy from Naim was due to the company’s strong reputation, reliable track record and great product offering.

“I have surveyed around quite of lot before buying this property. I really like what Naim has to offer. The excellent value in the high quality of construction, premium fittings, prime location, and excellent customer service, tipped the balance in favour of Naim,” added Iqbal.

“The rewards campaign was launched as a gesture of appreciation for our communities’ strong support towards our developments. Many people were surprised that a property was offered as grand prize with the winner having the choice of the region preferred.

“We have always ‘walked the talk’ and spare no expense to show our appreciation. We would like to congratulate Professor Iqbal and the monthly draw winners. We would also like to thank our customers for their faith and support towards our developments all these years,” said Naim’s Group deputy managing director, Christina Wong.
