Great camaraderie among Naim staff during Labour Day do

KUCHING: It was a “fun-tastic” Labour Day for Naim Holdings Bhd as its Kuching, Miri, Bintulu, Tanjung Manis and Kuala Lumpur branches held simultaneous celebrations for its staff.

Naim corporate communications head Caroline Yeo said this was the first time group-wide Labour Day celebrations were organised.

“Previously, our Miri branch has always organised the celebration on a large scale as a gesture of appreciation to our staff and Bandar Baru Permyjaya residents for their support.

“This year, our other branches wanted to join in the fun and took the initiative to organise celebratory events as well,” she said.

Leading the celebrations was the Miri branch, which organised an array of exciting activities such as a Labour Day Run, telematch, children’s colouring contest and karaoke session for staff and their families, subcontractors and also Bandar Baru Permyjaya residents.

More than 700 participants attended the event, which was graced by Assistant Communications and Sports Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin.

Meanwhile, Naim’s Kuching, Bintulu, Tanjung Manis and Kuala Lumpur Labour Day celebrations included aerobic sessions, games and futsal competitions for their staff.
