The Peak, Borneo’s tallest building

BINTULU: Naim Group of Companies held a ceremony to mark the upcoming completion of The Peak condominiums here.

Towering over the Bintulu skyline at 34 storeys, The Peak is indeed a sight to behold.

It is the first residential development within Naim Group of Companies’ flagship integrated development here known as Naim Bintulu Paragon.

With a myriad of lifestyle facilities, multi-tiered security and 261 units of homes ranging from suites and studio units to duplexes and penthouses, this signature development is also the Merit award winner of the Borneo Star Development category in the coveted StarProperty.my Awards 2019.

The ceremony was officiated at by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg. Among those present were Naim chairman Datuk Amar Abdul Hamed Sepawi, board members and senior management staff.

“Wisma Sanyan in Sibu stands at 28 storeys, and previously was the tallest building in Borneo. It was later overtaken by the Sabah State Administrative Centre in Kota Kinabalu, which is 33 storeys.

“The Peak is 34 storeys, which makes it the tallest building in Borneo currently, and it is located here in Bintulu!” beamed Naim regional general manager for Bintulu, Abang Mahathir Mohamed.

He added that The Peak offered unrivalled modern condominium living experience.

The ceremony, held to coincide with Sarawak Day, also saw recognition given to Naim’s project team led by Mahathir and appointed contractor, Sunmow Construction Sdn Bhd, for their efforts, and one of Naim’s valued clients for her support for the development.
