Official Handing Over Ceremony of Para Medical College at Padawan

The state-of-the-art Para Medical Science College located at Padawan was officially handed over to the Public Works Department (PWD) and Ministry of Health (MOH) on July 29.
The RM70 million institution that can accommodate 1,400 students and over 100 teaching staff was jointly undertaken by Javel Engineering Sdn Bhd and Naim Cendera Sdn Bhd.

The handing over of site was attended by officials from the PWD, MOH and the contractor’s representatives. MOH was represented by Dr Yao Sik King who is also Sarawak Health Department Director while the State PWD was represented by its Assistant Director for Building, Mr Stanley Chai.

Also present were Javel Engineering Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Encik Mohamad Yaman Abdul Hamid and Naim Cendera group Chief Operating Officer, Ir Suyanto Osman.

PWD and MOH were both impressed with the completed works on the various building blocks and learning facilities -touted to be the best of its kind in Malaysia
