New Appointments At Naim

KUCHING: Leading developer Developer and contractor Contractor, Naim Holdings Berhad, on 1 February 2010 yesterday announced the appointment of three new Executive Directors for the Company. and a Group Financial Cont.

Dato William Wei, co-founder of Naim has been with the Company since its inception. He currently sits on the Board of the Housing & Development Corporation. He is also the Advisor to the Sarawak Housing Real Estate Developers’ Association (SHEDA) being its immediate past President. He is a Council member of Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries (MACS) and a member of Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM). He was awarded the Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS), Johan Bintang Sarawak (JBS) and Panglima Setia Bintang Sarawak (PSBS) by TYT Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak.

Dato William Wei has also been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company effective 1 February 2010 to be primarily responsible for the Engineering & Construction, Property, and Trading & Building Materials scope.

Haji Radzali bin Alision first joined Naim Cendera Sdn Bhd in January 2005 as the Head of Property Investment and Overseas Business. In January 2008 he became Vice President, Market Intelligence of Naim Holdings Bhd. In March 2009 he was re-designated as Vice President of the property division to handle the property management, sales & marketing for the Company.

He graduated from the London South Bank University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours Degree) in Estate Management. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom and the Institute of Surveyors, Malaysia. He is a registered Valuer and Estate Agent with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agent, Malaysia.

Prior to joining Naim Group, he was a director of CH Williams, Talhar Wong & Yeo Sdn Bhd., a Chartered Surveyors & International Property Consultant firm dealing with valuation, market research and marketing of all types of properties. He was awarded the Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS) and Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang (PBK) by TYT Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak.

Ms. Sulaihah binti Maimunni joined Naim on 1 October 2009 as Vice President in the Managing Director’s Office. She is a Civil Civil Engineer Engineer with more than 26 years of experience. She has worked with the UEM Group since 1988 holding various senior management positions with her last position as Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of UEM Construction Sdn Bhd. She was also as a Chief Executive Director. Her last posting was as a the Managing Director of Sarawak Hidro Sdn Bhd, the developer of .the Bakun Hydroelectric project. Ms. SulaihahShe also has vast overseas experience in countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Qatar, and India. and Saudi Arabia. She will be attached to the Managing Director’s Office as Executive Director to be in charge of the reorganization of the Company as well as to be responsible for special projects..

The Company also announced the appointment of Encik Abet bin Abang Mataim as Acting Chief Financial Officer. Encik Abet is a Chartered Accountant and a member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants. He joined the Company in May 2008 as Vice President, Special Operation & Assignments. Dato William Wei has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) in charge of operational matters. Dato William Wei was formerly a Board Member and co-founder of Naim. He currently sits on the Board of the Housing Development Corporation. Naim elevated Encik Abet bin Abang Mataim as Group Financial Controller. He is a Chartered Accountant and member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants. He joined Naim Holdings Berhad in May 2008 as Vice President – Special Operation & Assignments and was assigned to lead the trading division under Naim Cendera Dua Sdn Bhd.
