Naim’s latest condo show units ready for viewing

KUCHING: The latest condominium show units of Naim Sapphire on the Park are now available for public viewing, from 10am to 5pm daily.

These show units are themed ‘Classic French Beauty’, ‘Scandinavian Sanctuary’ and ‘Spacious Minimalist’ – some of them also come with a private ‘Garden in the Sky’ each.

Strategically located at Jalan Batu Lintang, Naim Sapphire on the Park is complemented by more than 72,000 square feet of lifestyle facilities, multi-tiered security and professional property management.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, who officiated at the opening of the show units yesterday, said Sarawak is experiencing growth demand for more affluent-type residential properties as its communities are progressing.

According to him, the communities and potential home buyers are concerned not just about location, but also about other values offered by property providers.

“My ministry is also very much aware of such change in preferences. As far as my ministry is concerned, we regard private developers like Naim as our partners in the sector, working together and complementing each other.

“While the government remains committed to addressing affordable housing needs, developers like Naim concentrate on the needs of different sections of our communities,” he said.

On another subject, Dr Sim pointed out that the government would continue to prioritise flood mitigation projects in the state following the increasing rainfall at this time of year.

He said an allocation of RM150 million had been set aside for flood mitigation projects, expected to commence in the second half of next year – one of which would involve the Batu Lintang area.

“I have been made to understand that Naim has taken the initiative to embark on flood mitigation works at Jalan College, Batu Lintang.

“Not only that, I’ve been also told that Naim would also make a financial contribution to SK Stapok today (yesterday). This true spirit of corporate social responsibility is indeed something worthy of applause,” he added.

Dr Sim, who is Batu Kawa assemblyman, said this year alone the government had allocated a special fund worth over RM5 million for 15 schools across his constituency.

Earlier, Naim Group managing director Datuk Hasmi Hasnan said Naim Sapphire on the Park would create an iconic landmark in the development of not just the city, but also the whole of Sarawak.

“We want this condominium to be the best-ever condominium in Sarawak.

“If you like what you see today, tell your friends; but if you don’t like what you see, tell me,” he quipped.

At the event, Naim also handed over a RM50,000 donation to SK Stapok, as well as launched the topping-up ceremony for Naim Sapphire on the Park’s Classic Tower to symbolise the upcoming completion of the tower, and also its ‘Rewards Campaign’.

It is learnt that Naim Sapphire’s Classic Tower has achieved a take-up rate of approximately 80 per cent, with the works expected to reach completion soon and the handover ceremony anticipated to be performed next year.
