Naim sees encouraging response to Sapphire condo units under Kuching Paragon project

KUCHING: The Sapphire On The Park (Sapphire) high-rise condominium units, which is part of Naim Holdings Bhd’s Kuching Paragon integrated development near Jalan Batu Lintang here, are “selling like hot cakes”.

Naim deputy managing director Christina Wong said the response to the property had been very encouraging, thanks to widescale promotion especially the group’s Ang Pow campaign, which ends this Feb 28.

At the same time, she said the residential project was sited on a prime location, providing attractive value propositions to investors and homebuyers.

The event also doubled as a Chinese New Year do where hundreds of Naim personnel, investors, partners and prospective customers came to enjoy the celebrations, complete with a lion dance performance and the pre-requisite firecrackers.

During the event, Naim also contributed RM50,000 to the management committee of Kuching Chung Hua Middle School No 1, 3 and 4, as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Wong said this was the ninth year that Naim had contributed to the committee — which was represented by its chairman Richard Wee — and hoped it would be able to assist those schools in any way.

“We strongly believe in giving back to society. This (contribution) is from our hearts, driven by passion to make a difference in people’s lives,” she said.

Wong said Naim had always taken into consideration the interests of the communities in which it operated.

“As such, we have very strong outreach programmes through which we connect with the relevant sections of the society, assisting them in any way that we can.

“The Tabung Amanah Naim (Naim Trust Fund) is one of our vehicles to do just that, which is to assist the deserving ones to further their education,” she highlighted to reporters.
