Naim Makes It One More Time

Sarawak based property and construction company, NAIM CENDERA SDN BERHAD won the Malaysia Canada Business Council (MCBC) Business Excellence Awards 2004 in the category “Construction Industry Excellence”.

The prestigious and much-coveted award was presented to Datuk Hamid Sepawi, Chairman and Datuk Hasmi Hasnan, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Naim by the Honourable Minister of International Trade & Industries, Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz at a glittering ceremony held at a leading Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on 21st Oct. 2004.

In 2002, Naim won the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Best Contractor Award for Institutional Building Project (2002) and in the following year The Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards in the Medium Scale Project Awards category.

Just a month ago, Naim walked away with another two awards – the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards, in the Medium Engineering Category and the coveted Builder of the Year Award.

Winning the awards has placed Naim on par with the other big players in the construction sector within a short span of time.

The Malaysia Canada Business Council Business Excellence Awards are designed to recognize achievements and contributions of successful Canadian or Malaysian businesses or individuals. These companies or individuals are recognized in their efforts to meet certain corporate objectives, such as CEO of the Year, Business of the Year, Good Corporate Citizen, etc.
