Naim Land plans for high-rise residential development in Swak

KUCHING: Naim Holdings Bhd’s (Naim) subsidiary, Naim Land Sdn Bhd (Naim Land) is planning to develop high-rise residential properties in key growth areas of Sarawak such as Bintulu and Kuching.

“We have land at prime areas which we are now embarking on the development of integrated developments such as Bintulu Paragon, whereby we build landed commercial properties such as SOVO (Small Office Versatile Office), high-rise office buildings, service apartments, and even hotels.

“For residential areas, we are also going into condominium development with Bintulu Paragon as well as Batu Lintang.

“In the future, we will also embark on condominium development in Miri,” chief operating officer of property investment and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Yong Kei Seng highlighted, yesterday.

Naim Land, which will be showcasing its latest developments and projects at the annual Sarawak Builders Expo (Sarbex) Total Living 2013, will also update the public on its latest integrated development – Bintulu Paragon.

“As an integrated development, this means that we are going to develop different components and properties within Bintulu Paragon.

“At Sarbex, some of the new development components to be showcased includes the Street Mall and SOVO,” he added.

SOVO is basically suitable for entreprenuers and those involved in small medium industries (SMIs). It is a good alternative to renting or buying a traditional shophouse as it is more affordable and compact.

Yong also pointed out that the architect for the Street Mall development similar to the developed the Sunway Giza. As such, Naim is bringing a very updated concept of development to Sarawak.

“During the Sarbex roadshow, we will also be updating the public on the different schemes for different properties in various locations. We hope the public will visit our booth to explore these schemes.

“For instance, for some of our Bintulu Paragon properties, we offer buyers the developer interest bearing scheme (DIBS) with certain terms and conditions to be fulfilled. Some of the properties in Miri will have its own schemes as well,” Yong explained.

Naim Land will also guide its buyers through the loan application process by giving advice and guidelines to ensure a smoother process for their customers.

To note, Sarbex Total Living 2013 will be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching from September 20 to 22 (Friday to Sunday).
