Naim Completes Institute Latihan Perindustrian Miri, Phase 2

The completed Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) Miri Phase 2 was recently handed over to the Jabatan Tenaga Manusia (JTM)’s Ketua Pengarah, Encik Romli Bin Haji Hassan by Encik Ahmad Bin Abu Bakar, Senior Executive Director of Naim Cendera Holding Berhad.

NAIM was mandated by JTM under the Ministry of Human Resources to construct the Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) Miri in 2 phases on a 60 acres site near the Bandar Baru Permyjaya Township in Miri.

The construction period under the contract given for Phase 1 was 18 months from August 5, 2004 which NAIM completed almost 2 months ahead of schedule. Phase 2 was completed 54 days ahead of schedule.

Among the components in Phase 2 were gas piping fitting & industrial product design workshop, detached and semi-detached quarters, hostels, a surau, electrical showhouse and a grand stand.

In his speech during the handing over ceremony, Encik Romli expressed his satisfaction on the 100% commitment given by NAIM as a main contractor and said that ILP Miri has the best facilities and infrastructures and is the most outstanding ILP constructed within Malaysia that he has seen so far.
