Excellent Students Receive Awards from NAIM Foundation

KUCHING: Top students of SMK Batu Lintang and SMK Green Road received the Naim Foundation Academic Excellence Awards recently.

The awards which is part of Naim Foundation’s community outreach programme was launched in 2016 to recognise good academic performance and well-rounded students as well as assist under privileged students in 17 secondary schools across Sarawak.

“We hope that the awards will motivate students to improve their academic performance and foster greater desire for learning. We congratulate the students for all their hard work and look forward to seeing more success stories in the future,” said Naim’s general manager of Corporate Communications Caroline Yeo.

SMK Green Road’s principal Abang Othman Abang Masagus expressed his gratitude to Naim.

“The awards are very meaningful and have motivated our students, especially those from underprivileged families to strive for excellence not only in their studies but also in their lives,” he added.
