Laying The Foundation In Miri
Commenced operations with the landmark development of Tudan, Miri, now known as Bandar Baru Permyjaya.
Entering The Construction Sector
Ventured into construction with its first low-cost housing contract for the Housing and Development Commission, followed by the Pujut 7 Bridge across Miri River.
Expanding Across Sarawak
Expanded to Kuching through the Desa Ilmu development in Kota Samarahan, marking NAIM’s wider presence in Sarawak.
A Defining Year Of Growth
Developed Riveria, a modern satellite township in Kota Samarahan, and was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.
Strategic Investment in Dayang Enterprise
NAIM diversified into the oil and gas sector through the strategic acquisition of a 45% equity interest in the Dayang Enterprise Group, creating new business synergies and broadening the Group’s investment portfolio.
Expanding Beyond Borders
Expanded internationally into Fiji, successfully delivering the major infrastructure upgrading of the Waito-Wailotua Road in Tailevu, which was officially opened in 2012.
Enhancing Community Living
Opened NAIM Permymall in Miri, the Group’s first mall, enhancing community convenience within Bandar Baru Permyjaya.
Transformational Growth In Housing & Infrastructure
Reached a major housing milestone with 16,000 homes built for Sarawak communities, won key brand and environmental awards, and became the first East Malaysian contractor to secure two station packages under the Klang Valley MRT project.
A Landmark Development Milestone
Launched Bintulu Paragon, the largest GDV development in the Group’s history, and was voted “Best Small Cap” company by FinanceAsia.
A Year Of Recognition & Growth
Won six awards in a single year across CSR, environmental and property categories, and launched NAIM SouthLake Permyjaya, Miri.
Engineering Excellence And 20 Years Of Progress
Successfully installed the Phileo Damansara MRT Station’s Link Bridge in Peninsular Malaysia and celebrated 20 years since commencing operations.
Advancing Infrastructure & Excellence
Secured a package under the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak mega project, won the Malaysia Best Employer Brand Awards, and received the QLASSIC Excellence Awards for the University College of Technology Sarawak project in Sibu.
Entering Hospitality & Strengthening Community
Opened the first Fairfield by Marriott brand in Malaysia and the first international brand hotel in Bintulu, and launched NAIM Better Homes.

Celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter century of growth, development and contribution to Sarawak.
