PM Visits Naim Booth At INVEST Malaysia 2004

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi paid a visit to the Naim Cendera Holdings Berhad booth at the Invest Malaysia 2004 organised by the Bursa Malaysia Berhad held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur on the 26th August 2004.
Naim is the only public listed company (PLC) listed on the properties sector of the Main Board from Sarawak taking part among the more than 40 PLCs. The event runs from 26th to the 29th August 2004 with the objective of actively engaging potential investors by showcasing the best of what the Malaysian capital market and securities industry has to offer.

By taking part, Naim intends to continue to enhance awareness of and interest in its progress and achievements to shareholders and potential investors in general. Naim also took advantage of the event to showcase its products and services as well as its development plans with prospective purchasers and investors from the Klang valley.

Naim has consistently ranked among the top 10 among the property counters on Bursa Malaysia since its listing on 12th September 2003. It recently announced strong unaudited results for the first six months of 2004 with profit before tax of RM54.964 million which was almost 54% above the RM35.720 million registered for the same period in 2003. Unaudited net profit after tax for the six months was RM33.352 million against RM23.002 million for the previous corresponding period, an improvement of almost 45%.
