Naim wins Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award

KUCHING: Naim Group of Companies flew the Sarawak flag high when it was conferred Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award 2017 by the World HRD Congress in Singapore recently.

The award recognises organisations which have used marketing and communications effectively in human resources development (HRD), translating a company’s vision into human resource strategy and cultivating competencies for the future to enable building the organisation to be future-ready.

The award was also endorsed by the World Federation of HR Professionals, CHRO Asia and the Malaysian Institute of HR Management.

Naim head of group HR Andrew Chan said the award was a testament to Naim’s continued commitment in human capital development and management.

“At Naim, we are proud to build a human resource management system which enhances productivity, embraces diversity and fosters an environment where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Be it small job milestones or triumphant achievements, our people get a share of life, grow and excel.

“This award instils in us the need to continue to raise the bar in terms of human capital development and management, and rest assured, we will do it,” he said in a statement yesterday.

No stranger to human resources-related accolades, Naim was adjudged a winner of the Malaysia Best Employer Brand Awards, joining the ranks of Malaysia’s Top 50 employer brands last year.

The recent award presentation was hosted by the World HRD Congress and Stars of the Industry Group, and was endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses.

A renowned global movement, the World HRD Congress creates a global platform for HR professionals and practitioners across the world to share and exchange thoughts and experiences with the best leaders in this field, while the Global HR Excellence Award recognises individuals and organisations striving for excellence in HR professional causes and practices.
