Naim Officially Hands Over Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) Phase 1 Miri

Naim Cendera Holdings Berhad subsidiary, Naim Cendera Sdn Bhd (NCSB) officially handed over to Jabatan Tenaga Manusia (JTM) the completed Phase 1 of Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) of Miri during a ceremony that was held on March 7.

During the function, Naim was represented by Ir Sunyanto Osman, Senior Executive Director for Construction and Business Development while JTM was represented by its Director General, YBhg Dato’ Abdul Rashid Bin Saad and was witnessed by Deputy Secretary General for Ministry of Human Resources, YBhg Dato Azmi Bin Ali.

Obviously impressed with the speedy completion of the modern one-stop vocational training institute, YBhg Dato’ Azmi Ali in his speech put into record that the ILP Miri is the first in Malaysia to be completed ahead of schedule.

He commended Naim for the job well done and praised the hardworking team for delivering the project 39 days ahead of schedule. Naim was awarded the RM76 million contract in 2004 and had officially completed works on December 29 last year. The contractual deadline was supposed to be on the first week of February this year.

In his welcoming speech, Ir Suyanto said the institute should be able to recruit the first batch of students’ intake by July and the facilities there are ready for use. He disclosed that Naim is now working very hard to complete works on Phase 2 of ILP Miri and is targeting to deliver it before the February 2007 deadline.

To commemorate the auspicious event, a tree planting ceremony was also held at the compound of ILP Miri where both the VIP guests gladly performed.
